Individual Therapy for Adults
You may be someone who appears capable and put-together, yet internally feels anxious, low, overwhelmed, or worn down. Many clients come to therapy after holding things together for a long time until eventually stress and emotional strain begin to take a toll.
I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, and life transitions, and who want support that feels steady, thoughtful, and respectful of their experience. Therapy offers space to slow down, sort through what you’re carrying, and begin living with greater clarity and ease.
Areas of Support
Clients often seek therapy with me for:
Anxiety, chronic worry, and overthinking
Depression, low mood, and loss of motivation
Burnout, stress, and emotional exhaustion
Grief, loss, and major life transitions
Perfectionism, self-pressure, and self-criticism
Trauma and its ongoing emotional impact
If you’re unsure how to name what you’re experiencing, that’s okay, therapy can help clarify what support would be most helpful.
What You Can Expect
Therapy is not about fixing or forcing change. It’s a collaborative process of understanding your inner experience, strengthening your capacity to cope, and reconnecting with parts of yourself that may feel distant or depleted.
Clients often describe feeling:
More grounded and emotionally steady
Better able to respond rather than react
Less alone with difficult thoughts or feelings
More connected to themselves and their values
Progress happens over time and is shaped by trust, consistency, and compassion.
