About
Hi, I’m Kristen Yielding, LPC, RYT-200, welcome to my practice.
As a therapist, my goal is to offer a warm, supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered.
I primarily work with adults navigating life (transitions, challenges, and changes) and support clients with:
Managing stress
Easing anxiety and depression
Processing grief and loss
Healing from complex trauma
Building emotional health and resilience
Strengthening self-worth and working through shame
My approach is holistic and integrative, honoring mind, body, and spirit as deeply connected parts of who we are. In addition to my clinical training, I am also a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200). This background allows me to bring mindfulness, breathwork, and gentle body awareness into therapy when it feels helpful—tools that can calm the nervous system, build resilience, and support healing from the inside out.
I draw inspiration from the koshas, which is a yogic framework that helps us explore the different layers of self, and use a blend of cognitive and body-based (somatic) therapies, always tailored to your unique needs.
I believe therapy isn’t only about addressing what’s difficult, but also about reconnecting with your whole self. Together, we’ll explore your inner strengths, uncover new insights, and create space for clarity, healing, and growth.
I’m LGBTQIA+ affirming, and I value cultural humility in my work. If this approach resonates with you, I’d be honored to hear your story and walk alongside you on your journey.
